According to The Daily Mail, the former Spice Girl, Mel B has left her husband of seven years, American producer Stephen Belafonte. Apparently Mel B missed a LIVE show for the X-Factor UK due to being in the hospital for an unknown illness. She then returned to the finale show on Sunday night not wearing her wedding ring, and she had bruises and cuts on her arms.

Before Sunday’s LIVE show Mel B’s sister, Danielle Brown tweeted out to Stephen begging him to tell her what was going on with her sister, because neither she nor the family knew where she was. She even threatened to expose his verbal abuse to her sister from phone recordings she has saved from the past. Danielle later deleted the tweets.
Apparently before Mel B went to the hospital, she and Stephen had a huge fight.
Stephen was convicted of domestic abuse in 2003 after he beat the mother of his child, so people started to put things together, and it only makes sense that Stephen probably beat Mel B. He later went on Twitter to deny the allegations from fans. See the tweets below:

A source from The Daily Mail says,
“None of that means that he has ever laid a finger on Mel, but he is not an easy person to be with, that is obvious to see. It was a physical and emotional collapse. There was an emotional element to it, Mel has been under a lot of stress. He didn’t come to the show on Sunday as far as I am aware. He wasn’t in her dressing room. I don’t believe he visited her in hospital, either. Mel hasn’t spoken to Stephen once since her admission to hospital last week and as it stands she doesn’t want to see him. He didn’t come to the hospital at all. Everyone around her is encouraging her to stay strong and to leave him for good this time because they don’t believe their relationship is healthy. Things have been very rocky over the last few weeks…last week everything escalated and there were a number of big rows before Mel ended up in hospital.”
